MISSION

BirdHouse Magazine is a literary organization whose mission is to push the bounds of modern writing and art, and find a haven in the oddities that result from expanding one's craft.

Inspired by the fearlessness of modernist literature, we seek to establish a magazine devoted to the artistic extreme, to the recreation of artistic structures based off of the severe experimentation of their respective mediums, rather than the acceptance of their moderate nature and amalgamations to social structures. 

We are committed to publishing work by, for, and about people who have often been marginalized in literary spaces - with an emphasis on emerging authors and aiding them in establishing their artistic pursuits - in order to showcase a multitude of perspectives that force us to look at everyday occurrences in new and different ways.
